Head of Athena to left, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned, on the bowl, with a griffin; behind her neck, monogram. Rev. YEΛΗΤΩΝ Lion standing left, right forepaw raised; above, Φ; below, monogram. HN Italy 1290. Williams 305. Perfectly centered on a very broad flan. Light roughness and minor doubling on the obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
